Animal Companion Pet Sitting Service, LLC® and Warm Hearts & Cold Noses, LLC are co-sponsoring this local pet food and supply drive as part of the national Wishbones for Pets® initiative - in the months of October and November 2009 (Extended thru December 20, 2009).Pookies Bow Wow Bakery (both locations) as well as over 20 other local businesses will serve as donation sites. This pet food and supply drive will benefit local non-profit animal charities: Pet Rescue by Judy, the Central Florida Animal Pantry, Candy’s Cats, Florida United Feline Friends (F.L.U.F.F.I.), In Harmony with Nature pet rescue, and A Better Life pet rescue, as well as The Haven and Back to Nature wildlife rehabilitation centers.

Wishbones for Pets® is to pet sitters what Toys for Tots® is to the Marines. Since 2004, professional pet sitters from the US and Canada have sponsored the Wishbones for Pets® pet food, supply and fund drive - approximately six weeks prior to Thanksgiving - to help feed “pets in need” during the holiday season and beyond - with all donations and proceeds going to the sitters’ favorite pet-related charities within their local communities.
